Repsol Aries 32

Description
This range of oils is known as the ¡°turbine type¡±, not only because of its manufacturing process, but also because some of them are specifically developed for use in turbines. They are obtained from selected paraffinic stocks, to which rust and oxidation inhibitors and anti-foaming agents are added, giving them excellent properties and magnificent performance.
Recommended uses
These lower viscosity oils (ISO grades 7, 15, 22) are gearwheel used for high precision or high speed mechanisms. ISO grades 32 to 100 inclusive, are normally used in turbines, mainly steam or hydraulic, but they are also suitable for compressors, hydraulic systems, etc. The higher viscosity oils (type 125, 150, 220 and 380) are suitable for various types of mechanical equipment, lubrication being by splash o forced circulation.
Properties
Higher resistance to ageing and formation of sludge.
Excellent anti-foaming and air release characteristics.
Good water separation and rust prevention.
Quality Level
Grades ISO 32, 46, 68 y exceed the quality required for L-TD fluids specified by standard DIN-51515part 1.
ISO grades with viscosity above and including ISO 22, exceed in some aspects, the requirements for CL fluids specified by standard DIN-51517 part 2.
ISO grades giving in before point are VBL and VCL oils according to standard DIN-51506.
FC according to ISO-6743/2.
DAB, DVA, DVC y DVE according to ISO-6743-3A.
HL according to ISO-6743/4.
TSA y TGA according to ISO-6743/5.
CKB according to ISO-6743/6.

General measures: Seek medical assistance.
Fire fighting measure
No special measures are required.
Fire control: Foams, dry chemicals, CO2, water spray. Do not apply water jet directly as this may cause the product to spread.
Environmental precautions
Danger of physical contamination in the case of spillage (water flows, coastal areas, the ground, etc.) due to its floating capacity and oily consistency which may cause damage to fauna and flora with which it comes into contact. Avoid its penetration into water containers or outlets.
Decontamination and cleaning: Treat as an accidental oil spillage. Avoid spreading by using mechanical barriers and eliminate using both physical and chemical means.

Unless otherwise specified, the values cited in technical characteristics should be considered as typical.
